Mom Created "Bring Your Daughter to Work Day"

So, I decided that since it was one of my last days working at CRC, I was going to bring you into the office!! Although it may not be an "official" Bring Your Daughter to Work Day, I still brought you any way!!!

You have been a BIG hit here at CRC.
People have come over from the other building to see you!! You're currently laying on my lap while I blog (clearly working...haha!)

If only I could bring you to work with me everyday...ahhh, heaven!!

Full Blown Laughing!!!

So yesterday (7/25/10), I had you belly laughing!!!! It made me smile/laugh! I even have it on film. I was tickling your belly and you thought it was the funniest thing! I posted the videoclip on facebook. Everyone loved it!!!!!

You're 19wks!!!!

Today you are 19wks and growing like a weed!!! To celebrate, I took you to lunch with some of my old high school friends. You met Ashley's son, Paxton; and Laura's son, Tyler, and her daughter, Madison. You and Madison are VERY close in age. I'm thinking that Tyler may have a crush on you because he gave you a kiss on your hand when he left. It was soooooo cute!!!!! We won't tell daddy!!

When we got home, you jumped in your bouncy chair for a long time. We skyped with Grandma Betsy and Grandpa Marc. They sang, "Itsy Bitsy Spider." You loved it!!!!

It's almost bedtime! What a day!!!!

Did You Say "Mama"??

Today Grandma and I took you to Kenwood Mall where EVERY person fussed all over you!!! First we dined at my favorite restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory. Our waitress LOVED you. Even another waitress came over to see you. They all said that you just had the biggest smile!

Then, we went to the Brighton store to get charms for our bracelets!! Terry, one of the sale people held you, and offered to babysit for me anytime!!! People just can't get enough of you.

Now we're home from a LOOOONG day of shopping, and Grandma, daddy and I all SWEAR you said "MAMA!!!" There's just no way, but we all said it at the same time!! Maybe!!! Most babies say "dada" first, but I'm secretly hoping you'll say, "mama!"

Time for din din...daddy's going to feed you.

4mo Check Up (18wks)

Today you are 18wks old!! Grandma (mommy's mommy) is in town and went with us today to your 4mo check up! You weighed in at 14lbs 8oz, and grew to a whopping 25in in length!!!! Even though Dr. Warner said you're on target developmentally, I think you're way ahead of all of the other babies!!!! There is NO way most babies already turn over both ways, and are as alert as you. NO WAY!!! Also at this doctor's appt, you had to get your 2nd round of vaccines. You cried just for a little bit. Because you were such a good girl, Grandma and I took you to Target (of course!!) to get a toy.

Then, we met daddy at his doctor's appt. He had to get all 4 wisdom teeth pulled today. You know what?? You're a better patient than he is. Hehehe!!

SIDE NOTE: I just changed you about 5 minutes ago. I had a clean diaper on you and before I could close it, you started peeing again! NOW, Grandma is playing with you and you peed AGAIN!! Where's all the pee coming from!?!?!?!

Hopefully you're able to sleep tonight. You've taken a few good size catnaps this afternoon/evening.

Almost Holding Your Bottle!!

So, today (7/11), you ALMOST were holding your bottle by yourself. Actually, you kind of were for a few minutes...Once you figure out that you have to lift up a little bit, I think you'll have it down in no time!!!!

Okay...gotta go grab you. You're screaming (and kicking, I think) in your crib!!! We just got up from a much needed nap, and I think you're a little cranky!!!

Time to go eat some din din with mommy (daddy's playing hockey right now). Daddy will be home to put you to bed at about 10:00pm!

17 Wks!!!!!!!!!!

So, you're 17 wks! As usual, I can't believe it! You're still rolling over like crazy, but still only rolling to the right. I'm watching you on the floor right now, and it looks like you're starting to turn to the left. Maybe you'll turn from both sides soon!

You're becoming more and more fussy, but I think you're teething. I think the earliest people get teeth is 3 mo, so I think this new found fussiness is normal because I think your little teethies are started to form in the gums. I keep feeling the tops of your gums, but no little guys poking through yet. Daddy and I are prepared though. We have frozen teething toys which you kind of like, and Baby Orajel.

Grandma (my mommy) is coming to visit you on Thursday! She is so excited to see you. On Friday, we're going to go to Auntie Jill's house and go swimming!!! Can't wait!!!!

Fourth of July (16wks)

We just got back from Buffalo, NY where we spent your first 4th of July!!! This is where your Grandma & Grandpa Kozinn live. This is also where your Great-Grandparents, Rita & Harvey live.
You got to meet them for the first time. Oh, they could not get enough of you!!!

You spent most of the weekend in the pool!! Of course we have lots of GREAT pictures of you in your 1st bikini
(probably the only bikini you'll ever get to wear, if daddy has anything to say about it).

I'm watching you right now on the floor, and besides rolling over like crazy, you are really starting to move your legs!!! I think you're going to be crawling in no time!!!

16wks Old!!!

Today you are 16wks old! I find myself saying this like, but I just can't believe it!!!!!!! Where is the time going?

We're driving to Buffalo today to see Grandma & Grandpa Kozinn. AND, you're going to meet your other Great Grandparents, too - Great Grandma Rita and Great Grandpa Harvey! They are so excited to meet you!!!

You're going to have so much fun!! Buffalo is where your daddy grew up. We're going to take you swimming in Grandma & Grandpa's pool.
