Signed Up for Swimming Classes!!

Yesterday I signed you up for swimming classes!! It's going to be so much fun. A girl that I work with is taking her 2 daughters, so maybe you'll make a friend or two! :) Classes are on Saturday mornings at 8:30am. Your first class is 10/16/10. I think daddy is off that weekend, so hopefully he can come with us! One of us will be in the pool, while the other films! CLEARLY, we need this on film. Although you've been in the water before, this will be your first "instructional" lesson! You seem to like splashing/kicking in the tub. I am hoping to make daddy be the one to have you go under water. I know it will upset you (which will in turn upset me!).

Stay-at-Home Day with Grandma Betsy & Auntie Jill!!

Today you are playing at home with Grandma Betsy and Auntie Jill!!! I bet you're having so much fun! I think Grandma Betsy was going to try to give you some oatmeal and peaches for breakfast - YUMM!!! You haven't gone POOP in 2+ days!!! I gave you some prunes before you went to bed last night, so I am hoping that might move things around for you. You may be all bound up, poor thing!!

I'm about to come home for lunch so I can visit with you!! I'm so excited!

UC Game & Mama

Yesterday (9/25/10), we took you to your 1st UC Bearcats game (well, you actually were in my belly at a game last year).
Note to self - 6mo old babies should not go to games!!! You actually did great, BUT, everytime someone scored, people would scream/cheer, and this scared you. :( We all took turns leaving the game, to rock you to sleep. :( Poor thing.
You were SO tired that you fell asleep on daddy while walking to the car - it was so cute!


Also this weekend, you said "mama." You said it once on the 25th of Sept, and then again today!! LOVED IT!!!!!! We went to daddy's hockey game tonight - they won!! You did great! Christy Taylor, Grant's mom, held you most of the game. I think she liked you. ;) After the game, you went to Montgomery Inn - YUM!!!

Now you're sleeping!!!!!! Sleep well buttercup!

28 weeks!!!

Yesterday you turned 28 wks!!! Grandma & Grandpa Kozinn are in town because it's daddy's birthday, but also to see you (OF COURSE!!). Grandma Betsy, daddy and I took you to your drs. appt yesterday. You had to get more shots (makes me sooooo sad to hear/see you cry!!), but we have to keep you healthy - it's a necessary evil!! You weighed in at a whopping 17lbs 4oz and have grown to 27.25 inches in length!!!! You're in the 70th percentile for weight, and 90th% percentile for length. AND my favorite update...the dr. said that you're quite advanced for your developmental and motor skills!!!! :)

After the drs. appt, we took you to the Cincinnati Zoo (well, to the gym in between that!!). You loved the zoo - lots of GREAT colors and animals for you to see! Next year we'll get a zoo pass so we can go all of the time!!
I think you'll appreciate it more then.

To celebrate daddy's birthday, we went to dinner at the Waterfront. It's a very fancy restaurant, but you were SO well-behaved, as usual. Everyone kept complimenting us on how well you were.Here's something funny...the restaurant had high chairs, but NO changing table in the restrooms!! SO, I had to change you on one of the cloth chairs in the bathroom, and one time, you peed a little on it!! That'll teach them not to have a changing table!! :)

Well, it's now Saturday, which means UC Bearcats game! I have your jersey, leggings and UC shoes all ready to go! You're going to look so cute!!!

Trying To Stand!

Tonight, after a much needed nap, daddy and I were watching you while you were playing on the floor. All of a sudden we both saw you trying to stand!! You pulled your legs in, and your knees weren't on the ground, but your hands were. You were almost like a wheelbarrow!

Okay...almost time for night night!!!

Almost Sitting Up!!

I forgot to post yesterday!!!

Yesterday we went to my friend, Julie's Bridal Shower. You were QUITE the hit. Everyone was so impressed with you. People thought you were older because of your demeanor and how active you are. :) After the shower, we visited daddy at the store because he was working. We walked around Target for nearly 2 hours!!!! I bought you a Halloween costume - a flower! It's not the one I wanted, but I waited too long and the bumblebee costume was sold out - EVEN online!! So, you will be a flower,
which is appropriate because you were born in March (almost in Spring), and make me so happy, like a flower! :)

Later that night, I was taping you. When I watched what I had taped, I noticed that you almost sat yourself up!!! You have this new move where you bend your knee under your other leg, and this time when you did that, you kind of leaned yourself up and almost ALMOST sat yourself up!!!

Okay...MUST LEAVE WORK!!! Can't wait to see you!

A new move!

Today, while playing on the floor, I noticed a new move. You were crawling/scooting, but then you would take your right leg, and swoop it underneath your other leg/tummy. I've seen other babies crawl sideways with that move, so I wonder if that's how you'll start REALLY crawling.

Alright...time for Hailey & mommy movie time - "Monster-In-Law" (LOVE THIS MOVIE!!)
